Abstract: |
The research related to C.elegansbegan from the 1960s. It’s the first multicellular organisms with sequenced genome. As a model organism , C.elegansis widely used in physiological and behavioral researches about environmental changes. Microgravity and strong radiation are two characteristics of space environment which has a significant impact on the growth and development of C.elegans. We sum up the result of the research related to the growth and development of C.elegansand the results of the behavior, life-span and expression changes of several proteins in simulated microgravity and radiation environment. C.eleganscan respond to environmental change very quickly, so it is common biological material used in the space environment study. According to the previous study, C.eleganshad a sequence similarity of 40% with human, and the research on the behavior and the development of C.elegansprovide data support for human’s health and theoretical foundation for space damage repair. |
