| Abstract: |
| The International Society for Computational Biology (ISCB, https://www.iscb.org) is the worlds largest international organization and academic society in the field of computational biology and bioinformatics. Its Chinese branch, ISCB-China was formally established two years ago (https://www.iscb-cn.org.cn). This paper briefly introduces the founding history, organizational structure, major activities and awards of ISCB, and also sorts out the information about elected Fellows who have visited China. We hope that domestic scholars, especially young ones, will participate more actively in the activities of both ISCB and ISCB-China and play a greater role in the development of this field. |
